PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu confirmed Thursday that he would be contesting in Kedah in the 13th general election who has been speculated to contest the Pendang parliamentary seat in Kedah.
PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa is expected to contest the Putrajaya parliamentary seat, which is now held by Umnosecretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.
Husam is Salor assemblyman in Kelantan and said to be among the potential candidates to replace Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat as Mentri Besar

莫哈末哈欣戰新山國席
莫哈末哈欣戰新山國席
民聯派出66歲的莫哈末哈欣出戰新山國席，若國陣委派老樹盤根的前任國會議員丹斯里沙里爾守土，這將是一場“丹斯里對壘丹斯里＂的戰役。
莫哈末哈欣出生於新山甘榜瓦蒂哈娜，在新山完成中小學教育，然後進入瓜拉江沙馬來學院深造。
他服役期間，曾擔任馬芝迪軍營的指揮官，也曾派駐波斯尼亞執行和平任務。他是於1999年至2002年，擔任我國陸軍首長；他在武裝部隊服務長達37年。
莫哈末哈欣退役後，曾出任我國駐巴基斯坦大使，他也曾擔任化武顧問。
鍾少雲上陣地不佬國席
鍾少雲上陣的地不佬國席，一般相信會對上馬華候選人，而這名國陣的候選人選，有可能是馬華副總會長兼青年及體育部副部長顏炳壽。
也是新山人的鍾少雲（55歲）是一名稽查師，已婚，育有2名女兒，擁有獲美國認證的金融科學碩士學位。
依德利斯祖西打峇株國席
受公正黨委派競選峇株巴轄國席的拿督依德利斯祖西（67歲），曾擔任國家幹訓局副總監、大馬青年理事會（MBM）署理主席及大馬穆斯林青年運動（ABIM）署理主席。
不過，他卻被當地的公正黨員視“天兵＂，之前已幾乎被認定是候選人的公正黨峇株巴轄區部主席賽哈密阿里的支持者，曾派發傳單及設面子書專頁表明他們拒絕“跳傘員＂候選人，並且全力支持賽哈密阿里競選峇株巴轄國席。
針對此詢問，鍾少雲表示，公正黨派出依德利斯祖西的其中一個考量，是因為他是龍引人，獲得當地馬來社群的認同，希望藉此吸引馬來選票。
希茲旺攻麻坡國席
另一方面，30歲的希茲旺將攻打麻坡國席，之前是安邦區國會議員祖萊達的政治秘書，現為公正黨麻坡區國會選區協調員。
