2004年代表国阵参加柔佛州议会选举并赢得有关议席。

2013年5月14日，马华埔来士巴当州议员郑修强今天宣誓担任柔佛州行政议员，成为第13届大选之后首个打破马华大会议决，接受官职的议员。郑修强是受命掌管柔州旅游、国内贸易与消费人事务。^[3]在之前，马华常年大会两度通过，如果第13届大选所赢得的席位少过上一届，马华全体辞官，在联邦及州级不入阁。^[4]

马华之前在柔州行政议会拥有两名代表。不过，如今只剩下郑修强一人。

马来西亚教育部副部长的张盛闻上议员自小成长于双亲为割胶工人的家庭，年幼的他为帮补家计曾充当派报童，每日清晨4时就起床派报.

张盛闻 考上国大经济系，于1999年获学士学位.

2001正式加入马来西亚华人公会。2001至2003年间成为时任青年及体育部副部长丹斯里翁诗杰特别助理，后来在2004至2008年间出任前首相敦阿都拉政治秘书特别助理，并于2011至2014年间担任新闻、通讯、文化部特别事务处智囊团。张盛闻曾担任2002至2005年的马青班登再也支团团长、2005至2008年的班登区会副秘书及马青总团教育局秘书、2008至2013年的马华教育局秘书、马青总团中央委员、马青总团教育局主任等。^{[来源请求]}

2014年4月14日首次获得森美兰州议会推荐代表森州出任马来西亚上议院议员^[2]，并于同年4月21日宣誓成为马来西亚国会上议员^[3]。2015年7月28日的内阁改组中^[4]，被首相纳吉委任为马来西亚教育部副部长至今。^[5]2017年4月任期届满时再次获得森美兰州议会推荐并于同年4月21日第二度宣誓成为马来西亚国会上议员^[6]。马华总会长廖中莱在2017年尾宣布张盛闻将会在2018年马来西亚大选竞选芙蓉国会议席^[7]。

Loke was born in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, and educated in St. Paul's Institution and SMK Seri Ampangan. He graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2000 with a degree in development science. In 2004 he was elected to the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly for the seat of Lobak, and retained his seat in the 2008 election, when he also won election to the federal parliament for the constituency of Rasah. In the 2013 election he switched seats at both state and federal levels, contesting and winning Chennah in the legislative assembly and Seremban in the federal parliament.

Hou, a former Deputy Higher Education Minister, was Kluang MP for a term after winning the seat in the 12th general election in 2008. However, he lost the seat to DAP’s Liew Chin Tong in the last general election in 2013.

Tebrau MCA division chief Khoo Soo Seang (pic) has tendered his resignation from his post effective Oct 1

When contacted by The Star, Khoo, the 71-year-old Tebrau MP, confirmed his resignation, citing that he wanted to give younger and upcoming leaders in the division a free hand to prepare for the coming general election.

"After all these years of honing new talents, I believe that I am leaving the division in good hands while I concentrate on constituency services.

"Don't treat it as something serious," added Khoo, who is in the Malaysian delegation headed to the Asean Inter-Parliamentary Assembly in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar from Sept 28 to Oct 5.

陈书北，馬來西亞政治人物，是马来西亚柔佛州议会第11届與第12届柔佛再也州议员，為国阵马华公会現任中央委員會中委之一^[1][2]。

從政[编辑]

1993年，原本從事建築業的陳書北在時任馬華地不佬區會主席吳偉華的邀請下加入馬華^[3]。

陳書北於1996年至2004年擔任新山中區市議會（现依斯干达公主城市政厅）市议員。自1992年起自今，他除了擔任為馬華柔佛再也支會的主席之外，他也於2005年起擔任馬華巴西古當區主席以及柔佛馬華志工團團長^[4]。

他於2004年代表國陣參加2004年馬來西亞全國大選柔佛州柔佛再也州議席選舉，并贏得有關議席。於2008年大選再度連任為柔佛再也州議員。^{[來源請求]}

陳書北於2013年再次競選柔佛再也州議席，卻因但是馬來西亞華社反風甚強而不敵来自民聯的廖彩彤。
