From the eyes of media: A collection of photos taken throughout Karpal's life long career in Malaysian politics.

Karpal Singh s/o Ram Singh, was born on 28th June 1940 in Georgetown, Penang. Brought up in a family as farmers, Karpal learned his way from young as a cow herder, and that was when he met his wife, Gurmit Kaur.

Studied in St. Xavier's Institution, Penang and later received his Bachelor of Laws from University of Singapore (now known as National University of Singapore, NUS).

Karpal Singh joined DAP in 1970, and won his first election in 1978 at Jelutong parliamentary seat and Bukit Gelugor state seat. Karpal was the MP for Bukit Gelugor since making his comeback in 2004.

Famously known as the 'Tiger of Jelutong', Karpal fought relentlessly for the people.

Karpal Singh passed away in a road accident during the wee hours of 17th April 2014, en route to Perak.

Karpal Singh - Speaking up for the voiceless people, and the man is also a husband, a father, a grandfather, a friend, a colleague, a mentor and inspiration to all Malaysians.

Standing up for the lost, the last, the least, and the needy in Malaysia, the late Karpal Singh, will be remembered, not forgotten, as the 'Giant' among the tall orders in Malaysia.
