Basic Income in Malaysia

Implement taxes on assets , wealth that beyond reasonable possession of an individual, in other word is to tax the rich, but not to the extent to scare them away, but to make sure they contribute to the basic needs of the communities or basic income.  Say those net worth above RM5 millions to contribute RM5000 per year, above RM10 millions to contribute RM10k and etc. or make it simple, a 0.1% wealth tax on everything ( saving, real asset, stocks & bonds, commodity, etc) annually.

Should implement back GST, and give GST refunds  as part of basic income to all to cover basic needs: basic food, lodging, education, transport (petrol, diesel, gas or electric), water, electricity and telecommunication including internet, healthcare, health insurance. Say each individual got RM1000 GST refund per month, that will add RM60 to the basic income per month.  That is RM 720 per year.

The basic income should remove the stress from the community the basic need, but still encourage them to upgrade themselves and work to achieve better quality of life than basic.

A basic income of RM550, half of minimun wage should be consider at this moment.
