Former minister Rafidah Aziz has openly backed Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s campaign at the next polls to unseat the Barisan Nasional (BN) government.
“The collective effort led by Mahathir, to me, is the only credible way to stop the rot. The different parties have set aside their differences, even their party logos, to unite for their common cause,” she was quoted as saying.
Rafidah, who served as the international trade and industry minister under Mahathir and Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, also lauded the Pakatan Harapan coalition, the four party-coalition which Mahathir’s PPBM is a part of.
“They are multiracial, as Malaysians, and working for the good and interests of Malaysians,” said the former Umno Wanita chief.
