Mohd Radzi Md Jidin (born 4 September 1977) is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Senior Minister for Education and Society and Minister of Education in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin since March 2020.
He was also the Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from July 2018 to the alliance's fall from administration in February 2020. He has also served as the Senator since July 2018 following his appointment as the Deputy Minister in the PH government. In addition, he left the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) to join Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU) and has served as the BERSATU's Information Chief since September 2018.
Radzi was born in 1977 to a former headmaster at Ketereh, Kelantan. Before being involved in politics, he was a lecturer in forensic accounting at University of Tasmania, Hobart in Australia.[1]
He contested in the 2018 general election for the Ketereh parliamentary seat in Kelantan against incumbent Annuar Musa from United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) of Barisan Nasional (BN) and Wan Ismail Wan Jusoh from Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) but was defeated.[2][3]
